Looking for a good microphone for a video camera?
I have a Sony VX 1000 Mini DV cam, video quality is excellent and I have not felt the need to upgrade to "all top". What can be done in the "best" cameras can do in Premiere Pro, After Effects or other software. However, I need an external mic. There is a mini-jack stereo camera (not an XLR connector) and I am looking to connect a microphone to this jack. Built-in microphone is shot. I am looking for recommendations for this Mike – I want a camera mounted shotgun microphone, good quality sound, stereo if possible. Any experience out there?
