Using a video camera in 720p HD, what size SD card should I buy?
Using a video camera in 720p HD, what size SD card should I buy? I am thinking of buying a TH1 Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD camcorder and I know what size SD card to buy … I want to record about 2 hours to 720p so the size should I get? Is there some sort of rough guide to follow?
specifications camera seems to indicate that card is designed to 16GB of memory. battery is good for 200 minutes, and 16 GB is 230 minutes of HD video. However, if you plan to use the snapshot capabilities of the camera, which reduces the available minutes of video. An 8GB card will be just under 2 hours of HD video.
