video camera that works with Mac OS X?
Hello, I was looking to buy a good quality camera and have a budget of £ 300 (although it is preferable would spend less than this) video cameras that work better with the Mac or do not work with Mac at all. is this a problem? The JVC GZ-MG330H Slim HDD / microSD Hybrid Camcorder with Konica Minolta Lens (35x Optical Zoom) and Sony Dcr-SR35 E 30GB Hard Disc Drive Handycam Camcorder both look pretty good. Any suggestions? Depends on the Macintosh … Almost All Macs made in the last 10 years have a FireWire port. If your Mac has a FireWire port, then any MiniDV tape based on a great job. The new MacBook and MacBook Air does not have a FireWire port and no way to add one. All other Macs made in the last ten years have a FireWire port. All Macs made in the last 10 years have a USB port. This means that the flash memory and hard drive camcorders the disc can connect. The video from these camcorders may need to be converted using Streamclip http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/mpegstreamclip.html Camcorders DVD based on barely make useful doorstops.
