Internet over the years has evolved from a simple military information exchange network between a few computers to one that encompasses the entire world today. The Internet is very much a force to be reckoned with. It plays an important role in media, marketing, advertising and personal communication as well. With the advent of faster communication networks, more and more people becoming addicted to the Internet every day. The Internet has become a place that nobody can ignore, especially if they have to meet a lot of people or communicate quickly and effectively.
Initially, the websites were quite smooth and simple, with text that has just conveyed the basic message necessary. In the 1990s the pages looked like DOS screen as colored text an added benefit. But as the years progressed, he began to develop new technologies. HTML or Hyper Text Markup Language was formally standardized in recent years and constitutes the basic framework for all future websites. Even today Most pages are rendered using HTML. XML is another web design language that gained popularity in particular their custom features, where users can define the elements they wanted.
With the websites to adhere to these languages as their more recent origin and language technologies have been developed in making web pages more attractive. Java applets have been developed, which helped to create animations for Web pages. Web design took a new dimension with the introduction of animation features. Also tools such as Macromedia Flash from Adobe added more color to web design. Other languages programming such as CGI, ASP and PHP helped make web pages more attractive than they were highly interactive and easy to use too. Connections Broadband high speed allowed Web designers to play with more animation, color and audio.
If the animation and the color was not enough, then came along the technology of streaming audio and video. Streaming is a process whereby the end user receives continuous video or audio instantly channels of a supplier. Streaming has allowed users to view live video and audio as well as through Internet. All these technologies such as podcasting and Vodcasting have made the web design more or less revolutionary than evolution!
Besides the colors, audio and video formats can feed web instant update also known as RSS feeds. RSS feeds based on XML formats are used to update a specific user have subscribed to a feed of a particular website, you update the website. This is very useful for news sites, celebrity sites that want to reach their fans and other blogs too. Getting news instantly without having to go for that has made RSS feeds into a hot Internet success.
The development web design in recent years is clearly a testament to the human nature of wanting information instantaneously on the fingertips. Gone are the days when communication was through smoke signals and pigeons. Today, everything that travels under sea fiber optic cables in the packages. Web design has maintained communication with the evolution and the user engaged and entertained properly.
