If you want a permanent record of the video, get a video camera. If you want to watch the video on a television or computer, get a camera video. A video camera is mainly used as a webcam or security camera. For most people, a video camera with functions of camera is even better.

Camcorders are portable electronic devices for recording video and audio through a built in recorder unit. They differ from previous units in which the recording and audio devices were separate. Today, a video camera is a combination video camera and video recorder.
Previously, companies like Sony, JVC, Kodak, etc. used analog video tapes.
