MPEG-2 Video Editing?
My video camera only records video in MPEG-2. I'm looking for basic video editing (of cutting / splicing, and color correction) that supports MPEG-2 as input. I do not care if you can export your video in MPEG-2 (Infact, I would export in XviD or H.264, if possible). Just do not want to have to encode the stream before they can edit, and would cause unnecessary loss of quality. The camera did not come with any video editing software. I tried to use Adobe Premiere, but it does not seem to support MPEG-2 inputs. I have a hardware MPEG-2 decoder in the system, and I'm running Vista x64. Any help is appreciated!
