If I stay with my old Hi8 or miniDV camcorder I get back?
My Hi8 video camera has very good picture and sound, but the problem is getting on my computer for editing. I am having trouble finding a good capture device that works with Vista. My birthday is coming and I'm thinking of getting a capture device, but I'm not sure if I should just get a refurbished Sony Handycam for $ 175. What do you think I should do?
Hi8 is still good unless you have the Hi8 video camera with fire wire port or USB port to connect to the computer. I use mine yet, but will improve soon. I'm transferring all my tapes to DVD for backup purposes. I moved definitively to the lot and put their money into a new camcorder.
