interlaced or progressive?
Hello, I'm trying to find a camcorder that will record at high frame rate, preferably to bind to a network (a security camera etc) and wonder if I should be concerned about the type of image recording .. whether it was able to record 60 fields per second interlaced, which would be diminished if they down with the funky editing software?
If you decrease the pace too much, then yes. If you want the best picture, record in progressive if possible. Interlace 60 is nothing special that is NTSC standard. In many editing software packages at the end of the export or video, you are given the option re also interlaced frames. This will be better on computer screens and new televisions. If the final destination for the video is an NTSC television, it does not matter anyway.
