Camcorder JVC Everio hard disk using the MacBook Pro?
I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG330 Hard Disk Camcorder today and I can not transfer the videos to my MacBook Pro When I connect the cable, the computer reads the camera, but the file names do not appear to be compatible. How do I save the movies be taken with the JVC in my MacBook Pro? PS. When you insert the disk that came with, is nothing but a few pdf files. So you have not downloaded any application that comes with it.
Sorry, but the JVC cameras do not work with Macs. I noticed the same thing when I bought a JVC camera and discovered that it would not work. Mac simply are not compatible with that file format. I suggest you return the MacBook Pro, and try to find another laptop. Preferably as large as a Sony Vaio or Dell XPS. I have been using a vaio and have not had any problems for years.

TOD video file is captured by JVC Everio camcorders like the GZ-HD3, GZ-HD7. Many Mac users found it impossible to transfer files in Final TOD Cut Pro for editing.
