Copying a Hi8 8mm tape to DVD burner?
Hello, please help! Does anyone know if I can connect my Sony Dcr-TRV260 Digital8 camcorder in my Panasonic DMR-ES40VS VCR / DVD (descriptions below) and copy the Hi8 8mm tape found on the camcorder to a DVD? I'm an idiot when it comes to this and am trying to do a nice Christmas present for my parents. Yes you can. You can connect your audio / video from the camera and connect the audio / video in the DVD recorder. Just connect the cables, start recording your recorder DVD and hit play of the camera. It is essentially the same as connecting a VCR. The manual should explain both devices. I have not seen an entry FireWire DVD Recorder. My VCR has one. This makes it much easier and better, since you can record a pure digital signal, instead of one analog as you have to do with the method I mentioned. In addition, you can use the remote to a DVD recorder to control both devices. It makes editing a snap. Sony calls this method of i.LINK.

Step 5. Sony M2TS to DVD Convert
Here comes the step flames. Click the Record button to record / convert M2TS to DVD. Before that, you can select output options: DVD disc is their choice. Also, Please set the aspect ratio, etc.
Once everything is ready, you can burn M2TS to DVD. Soon you can enjoy your videos at home Sony M2TS DVD player with friends and family.
