Camcorder should I get?
Hi, I'm looking to invest in a higher grade camera consumer (shoulder mount) and found with a shop in my area that has two cameras around the same price. The Sony HVR-HD1000U (HD) – $ 1650 http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProVideoCamcorders/234994/sony-hvrhd1000u-hdv-camcorder.aspx and The Panasonic AGDVC20P (Non-HD) – http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProVideoCamcorders/225952/panasonic-agdvc20p-3ccd-camcorder.aspx the Panasonic is $ 1500 non-HD, but has a sensor Sony 3CCD than not. My new school of media has meant the Panasonic model. I have used it before and I loved it. I always wanted to do HD movies yet, as we a high-definition television in our house and my mac is powerful enough to handle HD editing. I just want to hear the views of people regarding what it should achieve.
I know you're looking at one with a shoulder mount so it can not help, but the Canon HV30 camera is an impressive high little definition. It is also half the price of the other two cameras you are viewing. It also shoots in 24p cinema mode for movie watching Nice.
